Motor City Movement (MCM) showcases the most talented dancers in Metro Detroit and has taken the Michigan dance community by storm. MCM was the first choreography showcase in Metro Detroit that brand brings them together to support each other and share their love the art of dance.

Over 25 locally and nationally recognized choreographers and dance crews come together to show off the latest and greatest choreography the Metro Detroit dance scene has through a live two hour performance open to the public. Several different styles of dance are represented in the show including hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, tap, jit and more.

Featured choreographers will include Lesley Kay (head choreographer of Disney's Oz: The Great & Powerful), MCM co- founder Jill Zmijewski, Michigan born and raised but now successful Los Angeles based choreographers Joey Antonio and Rachel Siegel, and dance groups from Michigan State University.

William Thomas from Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance will host.

A night at Motor City Movement includes a 2-hour live dance showcase, a cash bar, and one of the biggest dance parties in Metro Detroit. DJ BDuBz will be keeping the party moving before and after the show till 2am. Whether you are a dancer, a dance lover, or you just want to get something different than a regular “night out,” MCM is truly an inspiring, energy-filled night out.
