ROB LUNDY has been a fixture in the Detroit coffee house scene since he first got up on stage years ago. His acoustic-folk-rock style attracted a weekly residency at the Blue Note in Pontiac, where Rob began to truly establish his base. With the recent addition of his band The Cold Lantern Regime (Matt Majewski on drums, and Mark Suddon on bass), his music has evolved into a more charged and explosive creature. “The Regime”, as it is informally known, has shared the stage with artists such as Crashing Cairo, Emily Rose, and Brandon Calhoun. With ETHER AURA: the group's musical range incorporates elements of indie rock, dreampop, and americana. Indeed, while it's entirely appropriate to cite Cocteau Twins, Curve, and early-period Lush as influences on the Ether Aura sound, listeners can expect a few left-turn detours along the way.". And TONE AND NICHE: Tone & Niche (tone & neesh), an original pop/rock band based out of Detroit, entices their audiences with energy, talent and passion. The band consists of singer/songwriter Anthony Retka, violinist Nicole Varga, bass guitarist Nick White and drummers Scottie Stone and Roger Dutcher. Tone and Niche’s eclectic mix of violin-led pop/rock and singer/songwriter styles stem from influences of performers such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Andrew Bird, Elliott Smith and Mike Viola.
