HEAD VS. HEART started out in early 2007 after Chris Donahue left his drumming duties in Forever In A Day to pursue a project on his own full-time. Joining up with his best friends and guitar players Jim Moore and Adam Scroggins, the trio started writing a myriad of songs. These songs eventually became the stripped down rock songs that HVH plays today. With the addition of bass player Tony Mamo a few months after formation, and Robert Stitt on drums shortly thereafter, the songs started to fuse into what they are now. We are not some band trying setting out to create music that fans will love like all this stuff now with all kinds of screaming, synths, electronic drum beats, et cetera... we pride ourselves on writing songs that we know fans will love because they are songs that we love and created for ourselves. They are raw, powerful, captivating, emotional, and demonstrate our musical talents.

With Back to the River, Back to the Forest,A Night To Die For,Aedion, Fighting Lights, and Kao Layor.
