AEG Live Presents: BO BURNHAM at the Crofoot Ballroom

doors at 8PM
tickets: $25 (buy tickets)

Bo Burnham knew at a very young age that he wanted to perform. During the fall of his junior year in high school, he started teaching himself how to play piano and guitar. Bo attended an all-boys Catholic high school, and started dedicating his time to school theatre, perpetuating his nickname, "theatre queer." The name also gave him fuel for his autobiographical songs, such as "My Whole Family Thinks I'm Gay," that he used as non-fictional jokes between him and his friends.

On December 28th 2006, Bo recorded two of his songs as videos, and posted them on YouTube. Bo's videos have been seen over ten million times worldwide. The songs have amassed a huge response as they have been not only viewed, but remixed thousands of times. In August of 2008, four days after his eighteenth birthday, he became the youngest person to record a comedy central special. He released his first CD in March 2009.

Bo Burnham will arrive at The Crofoot Ballroom on October 9th, 2009. Tickets go on sale May 2nd at 10am. Tickets are $25 for this all ages show. Tickets can be purchased at The Crofoot Ballroom box office or at
