Detroit has done it again. Somehow in the midst of automotive smog and economic crisis, a musical love child was born kicking and singing its way to the stage. The pop/rock sextet, Rocky Loves Emily, has made more than a dent in the Midwest pop scene charting over 200,000 plays on myspace since its launch in January 2009. This Michigan baby not only out grew it’s cradle, but leaped straight into a King-sized bed touring the US with no plans of slowing down. Rocky’s Debut Release “What What What” offers more than just a fresh spin on the seemingly cookie-cutter pop scene, but leaves the listener constantly pressing rewind.
